1940s Hans Wegner Tall teak cabinet, front with two sliding doors and pull-out leaf. Doors with carved, fluted pattern in relief. Interior of ash with trays and adjustable shelves. Brass handles. Designed 1941. This example made 1940–50s by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. H. 145 cm. W. 117 cm. D. 44 cm. Model presented at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' 15th Guild Exhibition, at Designmuseum Danmark, 1941. This was the first Cabinetmakers' exhibition where Hans J. Wegner had designed furniture for cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. This actual cabinet exhibited at Design Museum Denmark, March 2nd - November 2nd 2014. “Wegner - just one good chair”.
