The PD60 table is perhaps the strongest possible design and construction available - literally as strong as houses. Engineered with a solid wood sub-frame in a way that creates a continuous joint the length of the table. This model is seen is zebrano.

This model can be made to order in walnut, ash, oak, wenge and rosewood. This table comes in sizes that seat six, eight, ten and twelve people. An optional extension leaf that folds under the table top is available.

Open plan living, dining, kitchen layouts were introduced during the midcentury Danish period in the 1950s.

New dining tables made of solid wood can be specified in practically any size such as shown here, a 465cm x 135cm solid zebrano PD60 with simply four legs and the strength of the wood.

The continued use of dark wood differentiates Danish Modern from other continental modern styles. The transition of traditional cabinet making techniques to modern furniture was exclusive to Denmark.
