This set of dining chairs by Steffan Syrach Larsen includes 2 carvers with arms and 6 dining chairs without arms for a total of 8 chairs. An additional set of 6 dining chairs without arms are available if a larger combined set is required. 

The rosewood frames are of exceptional colour and figure and without defects apart from expected evidence of use. The patinated black leather seats and backs are in excellent condition.

This chair design was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinet-makers 34th Guild Exhibition at Design Museum Danmar, 16th September - 2nd October 1960. Literature: Grete Jalk [red.]. "40 Years of Danish Furniture Design", vol 4, page 112-113 and page 220-221.
