Orupgaard 1938 Banquet Suite

This dining table was made of Brazilian rosewood for Orupgaard Estate, Falster, Denmark, of which the main building was built in English style by the English Baron Charles de Selby in 1812. From 1840, Orupgaard changed hands until 1938, when it was bought by Danish industrialist Knud Hojgaard, who ordered this Brazilian rosewood table extending to 710 cm.
This suite can be viewed prior to restoration. Restoration involves re-lacquering to replace original lacquer and make water-resistant. Customer can specify minimal restoration or reinstatement to original appearance without the use of colouring.
The price shown includes reupholstery of chairs in an aniline leather or most Kvadrat fabrics, to be selected in-store and repolishing of table.
