• made 1958 - 1969 •
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This round dining table was designed by Henning Kjaernulf in 1958 and made and labelled by Soro. The construction is extremely robust with each solid rosewood led sliding into slots in the apron of the table. This interlocking method eliminates vibration and jiggle found in many other extendable dining tables where the legs are merely bolted on. An exceptional design with exceptional construction.
Restoration involves re-lacquering to replace original lacquer and make water-resistant. Customer can specify minimal restoration or reinstatement to original appearance without the use of colouring. Light and dark areas shown in pictures are before restoration. Upon repolishing, colour will e uniform and a shade darker.
