The original Model 62 was designed in 1962 by Niels Otto Moller with a leather seat. Oliver Olsen designed a pure Danish or Paere Dansk edition of Model 62 using a seat made of 100% solid rosewood.

In 2012, Jorgen Moller, the original designer’s son, loved so much the chair with a solid rosewood seat that it was agreed that chair would be launched as a 50th Anniversary of the original design. Oliver Olsen waited patiently for his collection of rosewood bought in 2006 to cure before the chairs could be made. The dryness and quality of the rosewood was ready in 2016 and the chairs will be launched at in 2018..

Paere Dansk will make a limited-edition series of 150 chairs with solid rosewood seats plus 8 prototypes/artist’s proofs.
